Bitcoin only · Canada only

Hard money deserves hard numbers.

Every satoshi you have ever held, pooled into one adjusted cost base, and every figure your return depends on worked out from it.

The rules these figures follow
0%
of a capital gain is taxable in Canada
0
days either side of a loss, and it is denied
0
cost base method the CRA permits

One pooled average across every wallet you own. Not per-exchange. Not first in, first out. The one method Canada permits.

What it does

Everything a Canadian Bitcoin return needs.

Import your exchange history
Drop in the files your exchange emails you. Every buy, sale, reward and transfer is read and classified, and importing again only adds what is new.
Watch your wallets on-chain
Add an address or an extended public key and balances, transactions and UTXOs come straight off the chain. Watch-only, never a seed phrase.
Pooled adjusted cost base
One average across every wallet and exchange, moved by every buy and every reward. The only method Canada permits, applied without asking.
Transfers between your wallets
Matched automatically and treated as what they are: not a disposition. The network fee is handled as the small disposal it is.
Superficial losses
Buy back within thirty days and the loss is denied, then added to the cost base of what you kept. Caught and explained, not quietly dropped.
Rewards, interest and airdrops
Income at the value on the day it lands, which then becomes its cost base so the same satoshis are not taxed twice.
Mining as a business
Income in full rather than at half, with electricity, hosting and hardware depreciation against it on Form T2125.
Runes and inscriptions
Held on Bitcoin, tracked alongside it, each with its own cost base pool.
Schedule 3 and the working paper
The line items your return asks for, and the row by row ledger your accountant will want behind them.

Bitcoin only. Canada only. Every rule in here is a Bitcoin rule and a Canadian one. Nothing is stretched to cover another asset or bent to fit another country, which is why the figures come out exact rather than close.
